the words I need to hear on a rough day, and maybe you need to hear as well…

You have permission to take the slower ride, a carousel instead of a racecar.

You have permission to let yourself off the black ensnaring hook.

Let the past fade like yellowed pages of a book.

It’s the wrong book to be reading anyhow.

You have permission to handcraft your own journey.

To feel every drop of emotion that hits the inner Mason jar.

To not have everything tightly wrapped in a silver bow.

You are enough. You do enough.

Let yourself process on your own time frame.

Welcome and embrace the lessons of this season.

Finally, you have permission to fall apart.

It’s in that state that we sometimes find our best path.
