I’ll admit that I’ve been getting lazy in my journaling practice lately. I didn’t set up March or April pages. However, I’m getting back into the swing of things for May. I have a lot that I want to accomplish this month. Checking in with my journal always helps me.

I like to add touches like washi tape, colors, and stickers. This month I’m using up some Lisa Frank stickers.

I’m learning that during the course of the month, my scribbles, and colored pen markings give the pages more personality than I can think of up front.

Calendar page

I add lines to separate dates here. It feels neater and clearer to me. I also love to start the month with an inspirational quote. I do that quote closer to the beginning of the month, which is why it’s not pictured here.

This is where I write every big and small thing that I’m working on this month. Writing down the goals helps me to focus on them, and check in every so often. I can see where I hit or…
